The term 'Bollywood' was first coined in the 1970s, as a term used to describe a part of Indian cinema. As Bollywood cinema has evolved, the inclusion of Indian English dialogue has increased. The Bollywood theme features bright, vibrant colours, which is seen through the saris the women wear. The most popular women's sari colour is pink. These saris are often beautifully embroidered and worn with gold accessories such as necklaces, bangles, earrings and a gold bindi on the forehead. Some of the Bollywood saris worn also show part of the midriff, with a sash over the top. Bollywood cinema includes highly choreographed movement, to instrumental music and during the 2000s there was a huge increase in the popularity of Bollywood cinema.
